Someone I know is doing this. They are moving three states away and leaving no forwarding address. They are leaving behind a mortgage and a new car and car loan. Also the husband has two kids from a previous marriage that he pays child support on. He has told them but hasn’t told their mom. Won’t they be in major trouble with the state looking for him for child support and wouldn’t the court issue a warrant for them after they don’t show up for court about the mortgage? My situation is this. My mom wants to go through a divorce from my dad after being separated (not legally) for more than 6 years.
